See the cosmos 24 hours a day


Forthcoming astronomy is now possible, thanks to virtual planetarium that is installed in the Mall yesterday Arousa until 4 November. A journey during the cosmos and enjoy the most famous constellation or the operation of the solar system.


Arousa Vilagarcia The Mall offers from yesterday until November 4 new activity on the ground floor of the mall: a virtual planetarium for children and adults up to 35 people maximum, within which you can experience in first person what it feels like to see the northern lights or natural phenomena as the midnight sun.

The planetarium schedule is 11 to 13 hours and from 17 to 20.30, but can be extended depending on the audience. The ticket price is 2.5 Euros for groups although there will be a reduced price.

Sessions last about 25 or 30 minutes, and thematically, is proposed for the afternoon session consists of three mini-movies generic: one dealing with the cosmos as if traveling through the universe, other than a trip down the system sun as if it were in a spaceship and another on how to see the world from the ground.

For school-themed movies will be more specific depending on age. For smaller 2 to 3 years to 8 years, the session is "The Country of the 4" a cartoon and a storyteller which makes them an introduction to astronomy, explaining the constellations, for example, comments and explanations or additional monitors that are in the planetarium.

For older students, it raises other sessions like one on energy, another chemical, the evolutionary history of telescopes from Galileo inventor, another a trip through the rings of Saturn or the canyons of Mars.
