National documentation
of the United States for the first time published the secret blueprints flying
saucer, which was developed in the 1950s for the U.S. Air Force. The device is
called Project 1794 (the "Project 1794").
According to the
posting of the document dated June 1, 1956, a UFO was designed for vertical
takeoff and landing and had a speed of three to four Mach numbers (from 3200 to
4300 kilometers per hour). Altitude flying saucers - over 30 kilometers, and the
maximum range - about 1800 kilometers.
To develop a prototype
planned to spend one and a half to two years. The project budget was 3.16
million. As noted by the magazine The Wire, this is roughly equivalent to 26.6
million dollars in today's prices.
The reason the project
is not known. According to The Wire, another UFO project was abandoned in 1960
due to the fact that the experts failed to achieve the desired altitude plates.
